Acceptance
By using Kalyx, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
The app
Kalyx is published by KHASSINX LLC, a Florida limited liability company. It is a capture app: you write or dictate whatever you need to remember, and Kalyx keeps it, helps you tell apart what you meant to keep from what you promised to do, and brings the promises back when you said they mattered.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Kalyx on your Apple devices, subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms.
Purchases
Kalyx is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription and nothing to renew. The free app lets you make your first 50 captures. A single in-app purchase removes that limit for good, on every Apple device signed in to the same Apple Account, and it is shareable with your Family Sharing group.
The price is shown in the app before you buy, in your own currency. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple.
What the limit never touches: captures you have already made remain readable, searchable, editable, closable and exportable whether you buy or not, for as long as you have the app. The limit applies only to creating new captures. We will not hold your own notes hostage.
Your content is yours
We claim no ownership over anything you capture. We cannot see it: it stays on your device and in your own iCloud. You are responsible for what you choose to write.
Backups
Kalyx is built so that a capture survives the app closing, the process dying and the device restarting, and it keeps the original text of everything even after it is rewritten. That is not the same as a backup. Keep your device backed up — through iCloud or a computer — and use Export everything if you want a copy outside the app.
Acceptable use
Don’t reverse-engineer, resell or misuse the app, and don’t use it to break the law.
Trademarks
“KhassinX” and “Kalyx” are trademarks of KHASSINX LLC. Apple, App Store, iCloud, iPhone, iPad, Mac and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc., used descriptively.
No warranty / limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, KHASSINX LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
