When Cloudflare sets a cookie
A normal visit to this site sets no cookies (we checked the response headers on 5 October 2026). Cloudflare, our network and security layer, can set a strictly necessary security cookie when its protection steps in:
__cf_bm, which Cloudflare describes as necessary for its bot protection to work. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.cf_clearance, which stores proof that you passed a challenge, if Cloudflare shows you one.
Neither is used for tracking or advertising. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies like these don’t require consent. Names and durations are taken from Cloudflare’s cookie documentation, read on 5 October 2026.
